Image 4 is Day 2: Tranquil, I lift a cup of hot chocolate to my partner’s mouth

Image 4 is Day 4: Spell, a mixed race person tries to decide how they want their hair done for a night out in the cold weather

Image 5 is Day 5: Chicken, a chicken herder brings their flock over the hill to go to the chicken town from which they came

Image 6 is an original Illustration to a class screen printing project

Image 7 is Day 16: Angular, a skeleton does his makeup bring out all the angles

Image 8 is Day 23: Muddy, a non black POC is slathered in mud but keeps it in her weave. #MuddyQueen

Oh! I actually know the answer to this one! American newspaper ads charged by the letter, so a lot of people would eliminate unnecessary letters like the second L in “cancelled” or the U in “colour”. Some of these spelling changes were used so often that they stuck, and now Americans just spell some words differently.

In summary: Americans spell things weird because capitalism

Minimalist/stylized pixel games are cool, but I have yet to see an indie game dev go as hard on their pixel art as Metal Slug did.
